The Foundation operates a growing portfolio of programs, each designed to serve young musicians at a distinct stage of their artistic development.

Fernweh International Young Artists Competition is a global online competition for musicians aged 7–19, providing a structured, high-standard competitive platform for students ready to be evaluated — and recognized — at an international level.

Irvine Youth Orchestra is an ensemble program grounded in orchestral excellence and leadership development. Through rigorous rehearsals, mentorship from Foundation artists, and public performance, IYO prepares young musicians to play at a high level and to carry themselves as artists within an ensemble and a community.  

The Foundation's programming continues to expand. Each initiative is built on the same foundation: professional standards, genuine mentorship, and a commitment to the long-term growth of every student we serve.
